paint coming off plastered wall

we have recently had one wall replastered due to salt problems. We let it dry out completely and painted it. However on applying a second coat with a roller it has taken all the paint off to the plaster.....Help what do we do now

Did you put on a mist coat first? This is basically a watered down coat of emulsion as fresh plaster will draw a lot of moisture and cause problems with normal paint.0

I agree, it hasnt had a mistcoat,or its been Pvaed, therefore the paint hasnt sealed the plaster, and is just sitting on top of it, so, any subsequents coats wont penetrate the plaster, and will come off in strips.
If its all back to the bare plaster, then its okay, just give the wall a light rub down, dont use any paint straight from the tin, pour some into a bucket or paint kettle, add approx 20-25% of water and stir.
Paint that on your wall, this will seal the plaster ready for your proper coats.
When you come to do the next coat, do the same again, but this time add about 10-15% water, this will make it easier for you to paint, plus you will get a far better finish.
On your third coat, just add about 5-10% water, it will still have its thickness, but again, you will get a smoother finish.0
