    LOL @ bucket mouth:rotfl:

and your still shouting I see are you trying to convince yourself;)

As stated I'm all for it and agree with previous posters who send their young ladies to the classes spending £30 or so on outfits:T:T:T its the gross amounts spent by some on new outfits for every competition and the spray tan make up on 9 year olds that sickens me (americanization as stated)

I unfortunately have not been blessed with a daughter, but have 2 lovely wee boys;) the eldest (9) attends Karate classes and is taught with a large number of girls of similar age:T:T:T

Oh and sorry I don't understand Nokia speak, so your last sentance makes no sense to me at all:confused:

:rotfl: at the last bit. Txt spk really gets on my nerves too, we were all taught spelling and at school surely?

I couldn't agree more (again) with your post and have highlighted the relevant bit for ease of reading.

What does 'bucket mouth' mean by the way?

...and the prize for greatest overuse of the icon facility goes to.....*drum roll* Steveymp!
I do not consider that Janine was shouting when you initially accused her of that .
In fact she merely changed the font to an easily readable one and decided against any capital letters at all .I thought that the definition of cyber shouting was to type in capitals?
    She was whispering at you!

  • im am the aunt of one of the disco girls and im very very proud of her. So what if she got £500 for her 11+ it was towarrds a new outfit! Im really angry at people calling them chavs! My neice works very hard for what she has achieved and if her parents decided to give her money its nobody elses concern. They saved for a very long time for that gift. Just because shes not from a middle class backround does not mean that she cant have a dream.
  • Ok folks, lets play nice :)

Please be nice to all MoneySavers.
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.

Quite right, it's nobody else's business!

(Her parents could easily have given it to her at home, away from the cameras, if they didn't want it to be anybody else's business of course. )

Last June I went on a day trip to England. I had to be at Aldergrove before 6am on a Sunday that meant leaving the house before 5.

On the same flight were 2 "disco babes" about 8 or 9 years old (complete with all the make-up etc.) with their Mums.
They were also on the return flight and had won the contest. Fair play well done and I really do not care how much was spent.

HOWEVER what I did not like was the way the little girls kept shouting (not singing) a Queen song. "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS WE'VE NO TIME FOR LOSERS" Over and over and that was all they shouted. Is the way to bring up kids? putting down those who did not win.

Those kids are the losers. Awful attitude, hopefully it will be a case of pride before a fall.
