Today we have Helena, Brian AND Malcolm! Whilst their information can be helpful, lets face it they are not posting for the good of their health. IMO this board is turning into one big PR exercise for Eon. :mad:

At least they are upfront with their affiliation - unlike the vast majority of energy company bods who post on here incognito. But I do agree with your point all the same.

I have always maintained this forum is a fertile sales area for the energy companies and have frequently suggested in the past that there are some contributing on here incognito who are paid to be here. The usual suspects, of course, accused me of ranting.

I have found the best solution to any problems is to communicate directly with the company by phone. Its much easier and quicker to sort out your own personal circumstances.
This forum is very useful to make people aware of changes or new products.
I am sure many questions could be answered by phoning and talking through their problems to the company concerned as these reps probably can't answer individual cases anyway.
