Haven Primrose Valley is it any good?

I am thinking of booking a 4 day break at Haven Primrose Valley.
I have read the reviews on Tripadvisor, holidaywatchdog.co.uk
and ukcampsite.co.uk. and find them very variable.
I am a newbie to this type of holiday, a littleone means that we need to look at more family friendly options for holidays. The Haven prices seem reasonable, compared to what I am used to. However the reviews make me nervous.
Has anyone been to one of these sites and have any comments / help for me.
Thanks

We went a couple of years ago on a Sun holiday.........The kids absolutely loved it(the weather was good which helped)....had no problems with our accomodation ...we did spend a lot though!!!!! drinks fairly expensive and trying to sell stuff for the kids....flashing lights etc....whenever we ask the kids do you want to go abroad or Primrose Valley, they always say Primrose Valley:eek:
We went off site to pubs etc to eat as more choice and better food(i dont cook on holiday!!!!!!)
Have fun
 Am thinking of a new one:beer:0 -
having been to most of the haven sites over the years, primrose valley isnt bad, reighton sands that is about a mile away from primrose i found to be better, its a smaller site but still has everything you need the pool isnt as big as primrose tho, if you cook on holiday(which i dont !) there is plenty of supermarkets around everything at haven is really expensive on site....fingers crossed for good weather for you0
