Hence why mortgage companies force buyers to pay for such searches..... I think there is a requirement for newly marketed rentals to have an EPC available (but OP said it had been marketed a while) - don't know about the EPC legislation for rentals or whether it just has to be available if viewer asks...0 -

You may be worrying unnecessarily. The EA could write to people with a very low risk of flooding just to put them on their database. The fact that it is an upside down house could be just so that you can enjoy the views of the river during the day.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
