Let me point you to the above sites were the knowledge you seek is more available.
You have received a claim and on that claim (bottom left) is the POC (particulars of claim). Basically by requesting information under CPR 18 you are asking for proof of their claim i.e supporting documentation. This is coverede by precourt protacols. If you donot receive this information then you have to put in an embarassed defence (simply that you cannot put in a defence because you do not have the paperwork). It is more complicated than this but that is the basics.
Please go to both sites and read before you jump.

CAG forum. It's good for some things. But so is MSE. Both have purposes, and different areas of expertise. I note some users here are from CAG anyway. Yes, I know who you are.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -

I am not a regular poster on here anymore. I usually just come and read with the accational post. My experience says that If I need support, if I need help with arranging a DMP and organising a soa, sending for a CCA or finding out were to get further help then this site is A1+, NO question about it. But when it comes to information with regards to court matters then my experience tells me to go to CAG or CCS this site is not really set up to help, nor has it the experiance.
I was giving support through advice and that was to seek further advice and were to get it. CAG and CCS are not the enamy of this site they are people like us who have had greater experience in particular areas. So yes I post on here, CAG and CCS but in the same name KEL123 no other name always Kel123.

My signature is wrong Lloyds found a valid CCA so I have had to put 17k back on the list and I am at present waiting for Sehairi Clark and Mitchell to get back to the court with their responce to my defence. If you want to know more check my threads from last year especially the one were I lost in court when fighting against a bailiff, why lack of knowledge!June 2005 = 48K of Debt

Oh, don't worry about it. I know what you mean about CAG. And it's also why I don't take any crap from any DCA/creditor nor anyone who acts like it on here. I am sure you've come across the ones I mean ...
