On 02/02/09 i sent a letter claiming bank charges to lloyds TSB and as yet haven't heard from them, i enclosed a cheque for 10 pound fee but it hasn't been cashed, any advice on this also would be greatly appreciated.
Hi hun
They have 8 weeks to respond in full for a complaint/reclaim so some time yet.
But 40 days in requesting a SAR
May I ask if you posted by recorded delivery? (in order to know they have received these)?
Keep us updated hun, cheers.;) Good luck as well. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Its easily done hun.
As long as they have not taken the £10 at this point that is fine.
But if I were you I would give them a ring to see if they have received this, if they say no, it may be a case of sending another request I'm afraid.
If its only the agreement you require at this stage that is only for £1 cheque or postal order payment, the SAR may come in handy later on.
The agreement should arrive within 12 days of request.
The SAR request they do actually have 40 days to comply, its 8 weeks for a complaint to be solved.
I had put in 8 weeks as en error on my above post sorry buts its 40 days as from the letter they receive.;) I have now edited to correct my first post X
Give FP ring hun XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi hun
Yes ask them for a copy of your agreement, this only costs £1 postal order of cheque payment, and takes 12 days from request.
The other option is the full SAR (Subject access request), this should be supplied to you within 40 days of request and cost £10 again postal order or cheque payment, you will see the SAR template on the thread with details.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks for the information, do i just send a standard letter requesting agreement even though i don't know the account number?0
