Hi all,
I have 6K of debt on a mbna credit card that I have finally decided to get of my !!! and do something about.
I applied and was accepted for a barclaycard 0% balance transfer for 14 months. They gave me a limit of 2.1K which I then filled with a balance trasfer.
Question is regarding doing more balance trasfers. Am I right in thinking that I should be trying for as many 0% balance transfers as possible to get rid of mbna?
Worried that getting too many cards will be dangerous or not viable.
Any input thanked in advance.

Barclaycard has a reputation for handing lowish credit limits to new customers, so I wouldn't let this put you off.;)
To maximise the 0% period, 14 months is currently available from Tesco. A 2.9% BT fee applies.

Alternatively, you'd get 13 months with Halifax. There's a 3% BT fee.

You won't harm your score particularly by applying for another one, but if they turn you down you should perhaps wait a while adn concentrate on paying big chunks off the MBNA, just minimum to the Barclaycard for now.0
