Question about Treviso airport

Hi,
I'm flying to Treviso on Sunday with Ryanair. I know there is a connecting bus to Venice from the airport; what I want to know is: do you have to buy your ticket at the airport (ie, is there an ATVO desk), or can you just pay the driver.
We will have two very tired children with us, so I'd like everything to run as smoothly as possible.
Thanks.

from the airport website
* i biglietti possono essere acquistati presso la biglietteria ATVO, in sala arrivi.Le partenze da Treviso si trovano al parcheggio fronte area partenze.
Le partenze da Venezia in P.le Roma-corsia D2.
in other words - you need to get the tickets at the ATVO ticket
office in the arrivals area. The bus departs from the parking
area outside the departures entrance. The return bus
from Venice leaves from Piazza le Roma-corsia D2 (which I guess
is the bus stop number).
A return is 9.00 per head, compared to 5.00 for a single.
You can save some money (this IS the moneysaving website) by getting the local bus into Treviso and getting the train into Venice (3.05 each way) - but with 2 kids, probably not worth the extra hassle0 -
Hi,
I went to venice via treviso. Just as you come out of arrivals there is the ticket desk. Get there as quick as you can because there was quite a queue when we went. Having said that - the coach did wait until everyone had got there tickets as it is only there to meet the ryanair flights. I seem to recall that we got a single ticket not realising that it was cheaper to get a return.
Have a great time - we went March 2004 and had a fantastic and VERY cheap weekend...I wish I was going again!0 -
Hi,
My parents went from Liverpool to Venice Treviso at the end of September. They ended up getting a taxi from the airport as they were discovered they were in a hotel that wasnt on the bus route.

Thank you all so much for your help. I was sure I would get a good response if I posted here!
We're really looking forward to the holiday, but I always start worrying about the details as it gets closer to departure time!
Thanks again.0 -
I frequently use Ryan Air to Treviso and the ATVO bus is quick and easy into Venice, about 40 minutes. Looking forward to going end of February.SallyD0
