sending fax over the net ?

i cant beleive that theres no free/cheaper way of sending a fax,. with all the high -tech things there are these days

from time too time i have to send 3 or 4 faxes a month,
is there some thing else out there ?

Try https://www.j2.com for a pc based fax messenging service. I have been using it for 5 years and find it invaluable.

You could also search the techie board. I do remember discussions about sending faxes for free from your pc, but it wasn't something I took much interest in.

i did a search couldnt find nothing on what i was lookin for,..ill search with different wording later,.

and the link inmypocketnottheirs is sub based i was just looking for a 1 off price for sending,. with no sub fees,.. i guess im being picky there

been using that link pricefighter gave,.. great find every fax ive sent has got thru,.. im using thurderbird email program (same guys that made firefox) too send the faxes and im using Efax too recive faxes,.. no fax machine needed ,.. untill u need too fax a image of something but i have yet to find out what happens when u send a image as a attachment will the fax on the other end print it out ? ...yet too find out my self
