Halifax Regular Saver - no documentation?

After already being annoyed by Halifax (when I applied for their Regular Saver the rate was 7% fixed, by the time my deposit reached them it was 6%), I am now concerned because after two months and two telephone calls I've not received any kind of confirmation of my account. I know it is active and OK because it appears on internet banking, but I'd still like some paper documentation through the post. I believe this usually happens, but hasn't in my case. I'm mainly concerned because I have no proof of what my fixed interest rate is, and presumably a certificate would confirm this.
Any thoughts?

Halifax are inept at documentation (amongst other things;) ). Paperwork for every account we have ever had with them is covered with scribbles where we have had to write on interest rates, etc. So don't expect a certificate or anything fancy in writing about what they are paying you.
But you should have had a letter confirming that the account is open with the roll number. For a laugh, ring their helpine and see if they have a clue what to do:rotfl: ."Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm" (Sir Winston Churchill)0 -

No, I disagree.
Unless they have changed it since I opened mine last June, you should get a Certificate of Investment, showing the rate, roll number and maturity date. Mine came very quickly after my initial deposit went in.0 -

Have you checked your paper free documents online?
Might not be there, but worth a look.0
