One thing to bear in mind if you're travelling to the US any time soon, having an Iranian stamp in your passport will make them very interested in you when you're going through immigration.0

I went to Iran in 2006.
You have to get visa, and they dont always give them out. Its a fantastic place to go. They absolutely love westerners there. I went to Southern Tehran to visit OH family.
Tips, if you fly via france, or amsterdam, the flight is a hell'uva lot cheaper. I paid £299 flights only. With BA direct to Tehran it was £670.I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:0 -
Any follow-ups on this? The OP was still planning his/ her trip, so this continuing this thread would be useful for him/ her and me, who am thinking of a very distant possibility of travelling there...
