Financial Hardship

I started the procedure of reclaiming my bank charges from Abbey in June 2007, just prior to the test case starting. I sent £10.00 bankers draft which they confirmed had been received, but have only ever sent me a summary of charges only covering 18mths. I had been in contact with them - phoning them at least 4 time requesting the full statements - being told each time it will take 40 days. I had sent in letters one & two, then left it due to test case.

However now my circumstances have changed, I'm in a hostel waiting to be housed by council, only living on benefits as my 18mth son is disabled and I am his carer. Also have a 3yrs old.

I want to take up a hardship line, so where do I start. I still need my bank statements to see what I can claim. The acct was closed in 2005.

Any advice will be greatly received.
