Great Hotel in Sicily but no pool is this an issue?!

I'm looking at summer holidays and have seen a really nice hotel in Sicily for first two weeks in August but the hotel doesn't have a pool.

Has anyone who has neen to Sicily experienced this - do you think that we need one or is there enough to do. The sea is about 1km away!

Thanks

any other hotels there, that have pools?

I would be more worried about them leaving a (chocolate?) horses head on your pillow...:A:rotfl:

Do you want to swim? :D
  • I went to a hotel in Miami with no pool this Summer, and tbh i didnt like not having one.

The beach is okay, but sand gets EVERYWHERE! and i like it so you can go to the pool, back to your room for a lie down/drink etc...

    Depends on the person really.
  • I was a rep in Sicily, (Cefalu and Taormina). You dont need a pool, cos there is so much to see. You pay for the loungers on the beach tho, and they are packed from 7am on Sundays from mid July on. Loads sleep overnight on the beach.Oh, and it got to 118 when I was there in direct sun. Go everywhere you can and dont forget Ryanair fly to Malta and Rome for a nice two or three day out.....
Yeah watch out for horses heads on ya pillow...

Worth checking hotel reviews on https://www.tripadvisor.com before booking, some standard rooms with no balcony, poor ventilation and no view sound absolutely hideous for a holiday in August.

Surely you are the only person that will know if a pool is or isn't important to you?
