Short break in March... ideas

Can anybody suggest somewhere hot to go in March? I want to go away for 4/5 days - in the 3 or 4th week of March. Somewhere hot, but not too far away, don't want to spend the whole time travelling.

i was same as you. i booked budapest flying with aerlingus.

FLights are about 200 per person but hotels are very cheap. i got a 5 star for 72 pound for 3 nights and 4th night free. Def worth a look!!

temp mightnt be what your looking though, think average is from 12-17 Celsius in march

I think warmest nearest place to the UK is mainland spain around malaga or seville. It's within 2 or 3 hours of London and there's plenty of low cost flights, especially if you can avoid the weekend when travelling. There are also low cost flights to the red sea- it's warmer but a couple of hours further away- worth it if you can get the right flights. London to Sharm about 5 hours. Overall cost might work out around equal considering the price of the eurozone lately.
