I said I'd post once I'd used it.Very pleased with the vacuum, it picked up all the crumbs in the kitchen and the bits of fluff in the bathroom.Mopping was easy and the floor wasn't sodden.Only drawback is it can't get behind the toilet pan so will have to use a wipe or cloth for there.Very glad I bought it.0

I too have been contemplating getting one and have finally decided to do it, hopefully I wont regret it0

What a fabulous buy. Ordered Monday delivered Wednesday am. £9.99 including delivery! Can't stop whipping it out of the cupboard and wizzing round, so easy and convenient. Hoovering first and then mopping is best. You will be able to use any cloth as the velcro as previously said is on the mop. I shall just use regular hardwood/laminate cleaner with a drop of vinegar thrown in when the bissell cleaner is finished. I have laminate in all my rooms so you gals and guys will know just how much fluff, hair and dust is attracted. I sing the praises of my "electric broom" but it has quite a short lead and is very noisy to use early mornings/late a night. This little machine just purrs and does'nt it look nice and well made.
you sound in love with your purchase lol0 -
Ordered mine yesterday is a great deal they are £62 on Amazon :T..... ordered it along with a Bissell Quickwash, its a carpet cleaner, factory reconditioned but with 1 year warranty. £97 in Argos and on the Bissell direct website I got one for £39!:j Anyone have any experience of a Quickwash? The reviews seem good and for this price it seemed worth it. They still have other reconditioned ones at this price so Grabbit!!0

W've wooden/laminate floors throughout, and 6 children so the crumb problem drives me to distraction...I read through this thread determined to be strong...financial downturn and all that. Then went ahead and bought one! I've no willpower...!0

I've just zapped the hoover round the kitchen and bathroom (both vinyl floors) and the 2 wooden floors - they're both stained and varnished floorboards. Very impressed - especially that I'm able to clean under the piano without having to move it - since it's an Edwardian iron-framed monster and weighs about ¼ tonne, that should save my muscles in future! Mop works well too.
I used to have the mains-only version of this, without the mop, but it was deafening in use.. this is a lot quieter. Still spooks the cat, though!
Thanks to everyone - definitely a good buy!0 -
A question to anyone who has bought a reconditioned Quickwash, do you get any liquids or any extras with that, it doesn't mention it on the site.0
