Should I 'upgrade', from Ad-aware 2008 Free, to Anniversary Edition?

Hi,
I've downloaded the 30 MB Ad-aware Anniversary Edition, but don't know whether I should install it.
This pcworld.com URL]http://www.pcworld.com/article/158410/article.html?tk=nl_ptxblg[/URL [US site] review gives the impression so much has been stripped from the Pro edition to create the Free edition, that I wonder if what is left is even less than I have at the moment with Ad-aware 2008 Free.
Is the Anniversary Edition Free better than the 2008 Free edition?
Any advice?
Thanks.

I wouldnt bother with adaware at all personally:idea:0

Irrespective of how irrelevant anyone thinks Ad-aware is, it can't do any harm having a free adware scanner.
Can anyone advise me whether to replace 2008 Free with the Anniv Ed Free?
Thanks.0 -
There are better free scanners on the market - I would ditch ad aware.
I appreciate that this is not the answer you are looking for - you could always download it and try it out.0 -
I simply ment I believe there are BETTER free scanners out there
MALWAREBYTES and SUPERANTISPYWARE are what I use. Far better than ADAWARE upto now:idea:0 -
I've updated to the Ad-aware Anniversary Edition and prefer it to the previous 2008 Free version. It has 'Ad-Watch Live' and so is constantly monitoring. Haven't experienced any problems and what the heck - it's free.
Once a month I do run MALWAREBYTES and SUPERANTISPYWARE just in case anything has slipped through and usually don't find anything.0
