Hello I need advice please! I have a Toshiba M3 laptop. It's a few years old but has always been a good machine until Friday, when it would not switch on. The repairshop says the motherboard has gone and it will be £110 to replace it. Is it worth it? Do replaced motherboards last long? Or should I spend an extra couple…

personally i would keep an eye on ebay for an m3 with a broken screen but franlky £200 will get you a better and newer laptop, hell new ones arnt that far of it these days.

I saw a year old dell xt go for £370 on ebay last week (i forgot to bid :wall:) so there are some cracking deals about, may refurbs have years of warranty left.
