camping near longleat

Weve had our tesco points back and we have enought to go to longleat when the weather improves, so we thought we would go camping to keep the cost down and have a lovely cheap break , can anyione reckomend a good site?
Or is there a cheap b nd b you can reckomend?

Yup! Seven Acres in Frome. It's a few minutes drive from Longleat. Really, really lovely site. Not actually anything to "do" there- but it's clean, inexpensive & generally lovely. Take fishing nets & wellies for the kids, there's a shallow stream running through it.

We had to book a different site last year as we couldn't get hold of the owners by phone. However, we called in just to check as we were passing, and found that there was a lady stepping in to run the place as the owners were ill. We promptly cancelled the other site!

Make sure you go for a passport ticket to Longleat- take your time & you can spread it over two days. HTH.
