Glad I didn't take a punt at Lloyds - one of the worse performing companies on FTSE index 100 today.

Bought Legal & General shares earlier on instead - have already made a small profit in the last four hours of trading.

Are you only interested in the one day profit deals? Even I had to wait 3 weeks to double the value of my Barclays shares....and they fell 8p in the first week so I bought some more...

Surely a good excuse to go buy some then; why not snap up a bargain and hop on the rollercoaster we call 'banking'? :rotfl:

You could always double your money in a week like I did? Granted, that was when they were hitting £1... :rotfl::D

All the above posters still in? I hope so :)

70+ cents now... will they maintain that level? And will they climb higher tomorrow?

I'm "winning" so far, but then I haven't sold yet...

Everyone 'wins' on here. They always buy low and sell high, funny we never see any proof of it mind.

I'm sure Cozworth806 will be glad to hear your opinion - nice to know there's some real sympathy on here, and that you could be bothered to read the posts before you waded in with an ill informed, jealous post. Fool :o

Did you miss the post about someone losing £2k in a year. Sorry that I made money on Barclays but not going to let you have access to my share dealing account to prove it. Not sure why I'd need to lie about it, I have all dates bought and prices sold at IF I felt the need to prove anything, bought at 58p sold at £1.16....RBS currently 15% ish up but sticking with them for a while longer, Lloyds bought around 56p now 74p but sticking with them until they go to at least 80p.
Did you lose out big time on shares at sometime?

Hang on in there I am and seeing where it goes, glad I'm not at work tomorrow so can keep an eye on where the prices are going at regular interevals....

Have fun posting unhelpful tripe on here, really great contribution from you! Not

4 or 5 people said they made money "on here" (this thread) and you find that impossible to believe ?

and what is proof ? if anyone took a scan of any paper work showing profits im sure people like you would then jump to higher ground claiming its edited/fake,

i would like to know why you think so neg/ of the profiting in this thread? it might be beneficial to yourself,

and the 3 users that Thanked you, they should post aswell,

    I look forward to it

Back on topic.... bad couple of days!

I'm still in and still hoping that the news about the asset protection insurance scheme will be good. I would prefer that news to hit when I wasn't already 20% down though!
