Hi we are looking for a hotel for one night very close to terminal 3 at manchester with parking. We want to check our bags in the night before so we want a hotel that is close enough to walk across with out bags. Any help would be great

You can't get closer than the official airport hotel (I think it's the SAS but I'm not sure). The entrance is actually on the walkways that connect all the terminals and the train/bus station.0

Crowne plaza is probably the closest, the hilton is fairly close too, I think its walkable but there is a courtesy bus that will shuttle you over.
ETA: Omelette makes a good point - I totally forgot about the Radisson!0 -
Why not park in the short term car park, drop your luggage off, then away to your chosen hotel-which can be any one with a courtesy bus.All the above plus Bewley's. If you don't want to mess with car parks, then as Rachie004.
Edit. Not totally sure if Radisson's walkway connects with T3 ??0 -

The entire airport is connected.0 -
Yeah, its all connected! its a bit of a walk as the hotel is closer to T2 (although at least your inside, in the warm, not having to battle with the elements) and there are walkways to help speed you along/take away most the effort

My vote goes for the Radisson! Its a nice hotel too!0 -

Aaah,OK .Thanks for that-it's just that their website says T1 & T2 by skylink walkway-T1&T3 via an airport transfer bus.
Super hotel,though. 0 -
As has been said above, the entrance of the Radisson SAS is on the walkway between T1 and T2.
Other than that, the three nearest hotels are the Hilton, Crowne Plaza and Bewleys which are clustered together and clearly visible from the walkway between the terminals. You should be able to walk across to them but Hilton and the Crowne Plaza can be contacted from the free phone downstairs in Terminal 2 and a car will be sent for you. I'm only mentioning this because there were considerable road works last year that made it very difficult to reach these three hotels on foot.0
