We did this a year ago so dont know if offers are still available now, but might be worth investigating. We stayed in the Lymm travelodge and got fortnights parking with it ( involves a drive to the parking site and then bus to airport). Dont know if this is what you are looking for but when we did it,it was the best ( cheapest) option of all we looked at.
  • raddison has a hotel right on the airport site ideal for the night before a fight, sorry no idea of prices.

copy the above address into your internet top tool bar and press return it should then link you to the sight.
sorry some reason it wouldn't hyperlink.

you can get trains from piccadilly that go to the airport in about 20 mins, they seem to leave at least once every 10 mins during the day. an off peak-single is £2.65, peak is £3.25. it depends on what time you have to check in, but if you have time to spare it may be cheaper to go with the travelodge in town and get the train.

You could try M Rogers, they have a B&B close to the airport and if you stop the night you can park for a very reasonable rate during your holiday.
We stopped for the night in November and it was superb £45 for two. Better than some 4* hotels. Tel 0162 5522872.
Give her a ring, we will be going there next time we fly from Manchester.
