Motor Auction Charged me Wrong :-(

Hi All
I was wondering if you assist me with a little query?
I bought a car from an Auction last friday (lovely little runner it is!). I paid a £100 deposit £300 lent from my sister and the rest on a debit card.
Now a little problem has arisen! I doubley and triplley checked that I paid £300 cash, even my dad checked it as well! I went up to the cashier and paid, the silly women only entered in £200 cash and took the other £100 off my debit card. Now being excited that I'd just bought a new car I didn't realise until the next day on my receipt she had only entered in the £200 cash.
I tried to ring the auction last Saturday but it was closed so I rang this Monday and I spoke to the manager. He was very understanding but did stress that his 'girls' had been working for him for a long time and would not make this kind of mistake. He said he would check the accounts the next day to see if they were £100 over and ring me on tuesday.
Well guess what he never did! I've rang back a few times since then and left msgs but still no call back. I know its only a hundred quid but thats a lot of money to me at the mo as i've just shelled out £1900 for the car when it was only meant to be £1800.
Have I got a cat in hells chance of getting it back? Do you think a strongly worded letter might help? My dad is going to ring today but I think he'll just get fobbed off to!! It's my word against his really!
I want my money back!! Any help would be great!

I dont think you have alot of come back.
You have a receipt, which you have been issued and you have left the premises.
They SHOULD be honest, but it wouldnt surprise me if they werent.0 -
