hi, outside of my house there are double yellow lines however there is an old set which are very faded but still visable and a newer set that have been put over the top and are clear. the new set are not as long as the old set by about ine car space at each end and it is very clear where the new set ends. (this was done to create extra parking down my street as parking in limited. my partner was parked on the old faded double yellows at one end and at the other end i was parked on the faeded double yellows. (when either of us have parked on these before we have recieved no parking ticket) however behind my partners car another car had parked (on the actual double yellows) covering the end of were the double yellows finish. when going out the next morning we discovered that my partners car and the car behind had recieved a ticket but my car had not. do we have a case to appeal this parking fine. please answer asap as the fine has to be paid in 13 days time. thanks rachael

Some pics of the lines and signs would enable the experts to help. Photo both sides of the ticket and remove personal features and put it up here. How to in the stickies.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
