iPhone insurance - is it worth it?

I am thinking I should get my iphone insured because it is not going to be cheap to replace and it is probably at risk more than other phones - but is it worth it and who is a decent iphone insurance provider?
I googled it and found a few sites like iphone insurance cover.co.uk and a few others which look like they cover it - but has anyone got any advice or pointers? I dont mind the price - they all seem around the £5 mark - it seems ok but I guess I am on the fence a bit. I guess Im worried whether they pay out and things like that.
Has anyone used them or any other?

My personal opinion is that it is not worth it, they will charge you 5.88 a month which is £70.56 a year if you do claim the excess (Amount you pay towards the claim) is £25.00 for accidental damage, £50 for theft in the UK or £75 for theft abroad so you would need to factor these costs into the eqaution.
In addition the small print says it is NOT A NEW FOR OLD POLICY that means if you claim when your phone is say a year old they can replace it or give you the value of a 1 year old phone not a brand new one. This is a restriction you need to think about very very carefully.
You should also be aware that the small print allows them not to pay a theft claim if there are no signs of a violent or forcible entry away from home. For instance if you left it in your desk draw at the office and it went missing they would not pay.
It also excludes claims if you leave it unattended, say you are in the pub with your mates and you leave your phone on your table or next to your pint while you go to the toilet or break up a fight. If it is then stolen they could class it as being unattended so deny the claim.
The policy you quote does not include unauthorised calls made from the phone (You can normally report your phone stolen asap to stop these or simply put a pin number that is asked for before internation or premium calls are made)
If you have home contents insurance it should be covered under this if you have personal possessions cover, if you do not have this cover it will cost around £20 a year. The claims should be paid on a new for old basis and they would not be as strict on for instance the phone going missing in the pub (I have seen quite a few of these types of claims).
If you decide to use your home insurance it will not cover unauthorised calls (There are a couple of companies that will cover this though)
To summarise the policy you are quoting does not in my opinion offer good value and I would recommend you either cover on your home insurance, find a better policy (Most of them are similar to the one you have found) or carry the risk yourself eg do not Insure it and pay any claims out of your own pocket. (I'm guessing your a gadget freak so will replace the phone in a year or so anyway)0
