My 83 Year Old Mother Is Very Worried As She Says She Read That Her Life Insurance Company Is Refusing To Pay Out To Those Who Have Life Insurance With Them. Is There Any Truth In This?

    life insurance is not generally as good as life assurance. Life insurance will often have terms and conditions which it will not pay out on, like pre-exisiting conditions etc.

    I am not aware of any company that is breaking any contracts and if they were then it would appear in the financial press.

    What has your mother read and who is the provider and what type of life insurance (or assurance in case its that) has she got?
