Ebay/Parcel Insurance

Hi Guys

I'm planning on selling a laptop on ebay (I expect it to go for about £3K +) and I'm not too certain about the options regarding shipping and insurance. For some reason, the ebay faq page covering this is down (already emailed them) so I'd hoped some people on here might know the answer.

I want to be able to cover the laptop for loss/damage during transit as I've a mate who's sent stuff through royal mail only for it not to be delivered and then he's had paypal take the money from their account and give to the back to the buyer. Hence, he lost the item he'd sold and also the money that was paid for it through no fault of his own.

Given the value of the laptop I'd like to avoid this if pos!!!! Any ideas?

For an extra fee, Royal Mail will cover a Special Delivery item for up to £2500.
