It means Direct banking via PC, e.g. Digital Banking.
On my statements it is the abbreviation used when I make a payment via online banking, which I had always called BACS, but wanted to find out the proper name for, since it's a same-day service now, and my bank have described it as "Faster payments". I still tell my suppliers that I have "paid via BACS" though ..
Here's the list of abbreviations from my RBS Digital Banking, which is probably identical to NatWest's:Do you have a list of statement abbreviations?
