Mint Credit Card

I applied for a mint credit card online and when I did this I asked for a £1800 balance transfer from my other virgin credit card where the 0% has recently expired. I have been approved for the card, signed the agreement and recieved the card along with a letter telling me that they cannot transfer the £1800 balance as my credit limit is only £400.00.

Any advice on this, I only applied for the mint card to transfer the balance. I know I could transfer the £400 and at least I will not be paying interest on that. But I really need to do something with the other £1400.00

just ring another card like tesco someone with a 0% , you could try mint to increase it but they call the shots at the end of the day. spread debt over a few cards put them out of your reach and pay as much as possable each week and get rid of that pesky debt.
  • As I just have a applied for a card and I assume a credit search has been done. Will this not effect me for trying to get another?
