Morning towncryer
Well with ccj's all the mainstream lenders won't touch you!...Sorry!!
Aslong as your not bankrupt, and on the electoral role, aged 18+ you could try Capatil One ...you will probably been given a low limit of around £200 and may have to pay a deposit (ranging from £49-£200) but this is return to you when you cancel your card...if not in breach of T&C's. Also the APR will be 29.9% but if you pay it off in full each month no interest is charged
Also Vanquish is another good one to try but their interest rates are higher ..up to 49.9% but like all cards, if you pay off balance in full each month no interest is charged.
I hope this info helps0 -
thanks a lot, it does help. keep up the good work. TC0

Its going to be very hard to get a decent card with ccjs
As above the only ones that will be availble are the pre-pay ones.0 -
CCJs only stay on the register for about 3 years I think it is. So unless the old one is in fact fairly recent it's probably the 2004 one that's getting in the way. Did you pay the CCJ within 1 month? If so you could apply to have it taken off the register.0

I think you will find that they are on there for at least 6 years.0
