Garmin nuvi 255t- is the traffic receiver inbuilt

Hi money savers,

Im looking to buy a garmin nuvi 255t online because i believe it has an inbuilt traffic receiver instead of the wire thingy you get with tomtoms. However, some websites say the traffic receiver is inbuilt and some say *with* traffic receiver. Can someone confirm if the nuvi 255t actually does have inbuilt traffic receiver, ie no wire thingy to attach to windscreen. That's the main reason i'm choosing it over a tomtom

Im pretty sure it will come with a wire. I have a Garmin Nuvi 610T and it has a little wire that sticks to the windscreen.

Looks something like this:

My Garmin Nuvi 205 has a built in aerial.
It sticks to the windscreen using the normal sucker and is charged via the cigarette lighter socket if necessary.

But it has a 5hour battery in it so when i run off the battery there are no wires or cables anywhere.

I would have thought the 255 model would be the same.
