Hi all
I am looking to increase the monthly payment on my Payprotect policy (for obvious reasons) but don't seem to have the correct telephone number to do so. The number on my documentation (0845 061 8822) just says it is no longer in use (however the documents are 4 years old) and the enquiries number (0845 155 1930) from the website just asks you to leave a name and number and they will get back to you. So does anyone have another number I can try? Maybe one for policy holders. Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section.

Have you tried these numbers as they seem to be part of the same group

Ive been wondering about increasing my payments too, at present I'm only covered up to 6 months for £750 but ideally would like 12 months and £1000.
Surely if I call up and look to increase it, alarm bells will start ringing and my existing policy (which I can claim on as the initial 120 day period has passed) will become invalid. i.e. I would have to wait another set period before claiming.
Am I right?0 -
No I have increased my payment in the past and it has been fine, people's situation changes like taking on extra debt that needs to have protection or simply you have had a pay rise and you want your protection to reflect the new wage. At the end of the day they are getting more money from you.0

Just to let you know I have increased my payment over the phone (I have to send an email to confirm) and the new coverage will not kick in until 90 days time so yes you can do this but you will be covered on the old amount for the first 90 days.0
