Self employed, do I need PAT testing?

    Lets not forget its not just a tester, Its the appliance register labels etc etc public liability cover, Wudnt like to risk for the low price it is with a mates borrowed tester from work :rolleyes:

    You're putting words in my mouth. At no point did i suggest borrowing a "mates tester from work". The users will be certified to C&G 2377/002 (or equivalent) which will allow them to legally test portable appliances.

    Technical its a competant person not legal if you wana be finnicky, Plus would they have insurance to carry out the work ?
