Jammy - I don't think you're being heartless either, I don't think you've got it in you to be heartless
Thanks for the sleeping tips sylphraven, I am definitely going to try them tonight.
Just got myself all upset on the phone to my mum and it's so soooo very stupid!! I'm going bowling with my niece tomorrow, we're meeting my cousin and her kids there, my cousin booked the lane for 11, now this is a perfectly normal time of the day to go bowling but knowing what I have been like this week, I am so worried I won't get upMy mum wasn't very helpful to be honest and said "well just make sure you do" I know I am being daft worrying but i'm going to have to get up at 9.30, I haven't been getting to sleep til way after 3
I just don't want people to be slagging me off (i've got a big family and they're very biatchy and horrible) Most people think i'm lazy as it is because i'm not working at the moment.
I know you all probably think i'm mad, you've got way more important things to worry about and here's me worrying because I can't up at a proper time in the morning
Sorry for going onI'm just going to have to hope I get to sleep at a decent time.
Ooooh i'm a miserable sod aren't I? :rotfl: I've just eaten a chocolate eclair to try and cheer myself up, hasnt worked properly so think i'll have to go and get another
You are absolutely not miserable Hayley, far from it  Don't you go worrying about what people may or may not be thinking. Just concentrate on you. Getting yourself worked up is not going to make you sleep like a wee babe tonight
Have you tried lavender oil by the way. It is supposed to help relax and calm.
Enjoy your second eclair and hope you have a great time bowling tomorrow x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I am now not so thrifty being gifty
My budget bargain birthday for my DD has now doubled  For christmas we bought her 2 pooh scooters from argos they were £10 each, however since May last year I have been scouring the internet for the third one which is Darby on a pink bike ... this would complete the set. I have phoned manufacturers in the UK and in the USA this hasn't been released in the UK even though argos are advertising it in their catalogue
Anyway to cut a long story short I have just paid £23 for this scooter  I am ashamed of myself to pay more than double the price but I could only source it on ebay.com
and I really wanted her to have it
So am I forgiven?
and just to try and win you over here is a pic ...Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Rainmac - thanks
I hate the smell of lavender but I might get some to see if it works, I had some avon sleeptherapy things but I sold them on ebay, doh!
Rusty - the are very cute, don't be ashamed, it's nice to get something you know you're little girl will love. And at the rate you're going with this challenge, I don't think you should be so hard on yourself:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

Hayley you are so not being daft as one who sweats the small stuff rather than the big stuff I understand where you're coming from - it's what's important to you that matters. Have you got anyone who could ring you to get you up or if you're that worried don't go to bed (that was a joke btw)
Rusty you've done so well with your eBaying littley deserves a treat and knowing you once she's finished paying with it you'll sell it for more than you paid anyway :rotfl:.
I've just updated my blog with 2 credit crunch cards and the best bag lady bag in the world ever (this one is all mine!!!) and for those of you who don't want to see the bald little guys I haven't taken any more pics so don't worry - will try and get some tomorrow as the biggest one is allegedly starting to fluff upOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Rusty You have done soooo well on the challenge. I am sure you will be forgiven for having a little splurge
and if it will make your daughter happy, this will make you happy. After you have had it so rough i think you all deserve a little bit of a smile
Give yourself a pat on the back and sit back and smile at how well you have done xx
Hayley Try not to worry hunny. Worry doesnt help you sleep either. If you are up then your up.If your not oh wellIm having to try and get to grips with my weird sleep patterns too, since my doctor changed my tablets. Its not nice and its not easy. Think about yourself xx

well I have finally finished my thankyou cards.....10 days after the event. I bought easter ones for the people I would normally send easter cards to and did a thankyou as well....and tonight I have made a load of cards ....kept remembering oh such and such gave me this need to do a card! so have sat at table for an hour being creative.
Erm....have I done anything or my holiday? No! Need to go and start to pack tonight whilst apprentice is on,
For the past hour the house behind us has had a doberman dog outside in their garden barking & howling and jumping at my fence. I don't know when they got it but it is doing my head in!!!
I am going to pack with earmuffs on! Byeee0 -
Padingtondoo :T I looove your cards and what bargains they were !!
But WOW !!!! Your bag is beeeeeautiful
I cant wait to see the fluffy hearts (budgies) :rotfl:furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Hayley - Funnily enough, its the small things that are hard to cope with because (a) no one takes them seriously (b) you feel like a headcase and (c) people tell you to get over it - with the big things, they are positively queuing up to listen and help so you get through it. Want me to ring ya in the morning??
(PS - Lavender oil hypes me up not calms me! Counting sheep never works as the sheep jump too fast then I have to think up a machine to slow them down (?????) which wakes up more! However counting to 10 slowly with very slow breaths works everytime!)
Thanks all of you for the kind words. The man in my Grandads bed was a restless one tonight bless him. I love coming on here and seeing what you have been up to, it makes me remember that there is life outside the hospital LOL (although if I wash my hands one more time, I literally will be through to blood vessels!damn cleanliness!!)
All of you are doing great on the challenge - I'll let you off Aurora, but 75p is an excellent start well done you

Rusty, you silly moo, theres nothing to forgive you for! I think getting the whole set is extremely thrifty, they'll sell for soooooooo much more on ebay etc as a set!!!
Choccy, you been stamping yet?
Well done on getting finished mhags, so nice of you to do thank you cards, with my family & friends its a text or a tq in person, which is fine, its the ones who dont even bother to say anything that drive me mad!!!! So for you to not only do CARDS but to make them as well :eek:your a star!!!
You got an alarm on your mobile Hayley? set it if you have, & your oh's for a lil later, & any others in the house. I have about 4 to wake me up, thats when Kai isnt waking me up at 6.You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0
