Hope someone can help.
I oven cooked chicken breasts with onions, olive oil & a paste of garlic & ginger (came in a jar)I found in the Asian shop.
It's a bit runny & too oniony for me.
Was thinking of blending liquid & onions down & maybe adding some of a coconut block I also got in Asian shop.
Do you think this would work maybe served with noodles.
Never used coconut block before & wondering will it make sauce too sweet?
Any advice or ideas welcome?

I'm sure that'll be fine.
I'd try shaving some of the coconut block off and adding boiling water to it (to make a watery coconut milk type thing) and adding that, then shaving bits of the coconut into the sauce for the final few mins of cooking to thicken it up a bit.
Served with noodles or rice I'm sure this would be delicious.
(I always add loads of fresh coriander as well....mmmm!)0 -
Add some curry spices and a good chunk of the creamed coconut. Season well tasting as you go and it will make a nice korma style curry. - You could also add some ground almonds to make it a bit more authentic, but it will taste fine without.0

only add half a coconut block - try some coriander leaves (fresh) to combat the sweetness - then tasteTime is the best teacherShame it kills all the students*******************************************************************************************0
