Silk Wedding Flowers

Hi all,
Getting married in August this year and have decided on silk flowers as our ceremony and reception are a week apart and I want my flowers to last!

Has anyone got any recommended sites to buy silk bouquets from?

Thanks in advance!

  • I bought mine from Sarah, and they are ace!

There was no matching button hole to my bouquet, but I asked and they made me one.

I got married in Aug 2007 and got my flowers from here:

    http://www.flowergem4u.co.uk/

they were perfect well constructed, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend linda.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

I got mine from silkweddingdesigns.com. They weren't expensive, but they're at my mother's house and I've not seen them yet! They have an ebay shop, you can get Quidco cashback if you buy via there.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy
  • Thank you all so much for your replies! Very helpful and good to know that I I have a few options. Thanks again!

I am considering having silk wedding flowers, but the only thing is, I've never seen any before. The only fake flowers I've ever seen up close have been the kind you get on the tables at tacky restaurants etc, and I'm guessing that proper silk flowers look better than that....?!!! I need some reassurance that they do look real, and not cheap and nasty.
Also, do any of the above suggested websites alter their products according to your requests?
One more question - has anyone seen any silk boquets that aren't predominantly roses or calla lilies....?! (I'm after daisies).

    Thanks

    BB

    Hi,

I ordered samples from sarahs flowers.

She doesn't seem to do daisies (you could contact her to ask if they could source them for you?) but they do orchids & gerberas amongst the usual lillies and roses. I think they can be flexible with their arrangements so it would be worth contacting them to ask. I think that flowergem4u are flexible as well. I ordered samples of the cala lily and stargazer lily and was extremely impressed with the quality and look of the cala lily. I thought the stargazer still look artificial although only at close range.

Another recommendation for www.aislebeyours.com . They're great and will put together anything you want, as well as having a standard range. Sherrie is lovely too!
