Is there a router bit for chasing out brick? I've seen plenty for removing mortar, but are there any for removing brick? If so, where?

you would be better off with an angle grinder they can be picked up for less than £30if you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0

I want to cut out brick for some new electrical sockets, so a grinder would be a bit limited.0

well thats what its done with on building sites .if its only a few sockets why not just use a masonary bit and depth guage on drill.drill holes starting from the middle working outwardsif you think peoples advice is helpfull please take the time to clicking the thank you button it gives great satisfaction0

Not a router bit but if you have a suitable drill then these will do the job

I found the best balance between quality of hole vs. time taken was to use a SDS drill with a flat edge bit to create an approximate hole and then clean up with the bolster chisel.
If you do not want to go to that expense then lots of small holes in the brickwork close together and chisel out by hand.0 -
I saw the light with an SDS drill and chisel head. The brick in my house is very hard engineering brick. I spent about three hours chiselling out a couple of boxes one day. Another day I realised I had the drill, and managed to chisel out a further five boxes in about two hours.0
