Heathrow Express

Can anyone help me please - I am going to London this weekend with my daughter and would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to get return tickets for Heathrow Express for cheaper than the £64 quoted on their site.
Thanks
nellie
You can't - use the tube or Heathrow Connect instead.
Well there is a way - you need to have a BAA loyalty card and have spent enough on it to redeem the points for money off vouchers. Even then there are better uses for the points.0 -
You should be asking why you need to get the HEX into London as unless you are staying in Paddington, it's virtually guaranteed you'll be spending more money to get to your final destination
If you are heading for Paddington you could use the Heathrow CONNECT service which takes the same route for £27.60 in total.
Alternatively you can buy an Oystercard each at Heathrow and put £15 on it which will be more than enough for a full weekend of travel in London on the Tube & buses, BUT if you are intending to do touristy things where 2-for-1 offers are available, pay for the Tube ride into London separately (total £16) and buy a PAPER travelcard each at a TRAIN station booking office. If you are staying near Victoria station then taking the National Express coach into London may be an easier option0 -
You'll save a couple of pounds buying the tickets on the flight.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0

Thanks for the help guys. I'm getting organised.

My mate paid £30 open return to travel about 20 miles on the Gatwick Express, looked on thetrainline and they had singles at between £3 and £11 so have a look at buying in advance from a ticket website or the train companies website0

Fraid the Gatwick and Heathrow Expresses are entirely different beasts. What applies to one is irrelevant to the other.
Well except you can get the BAA loyalty discount on both0 -
If you have an Amex card they were offering 20% off I don't know if they still are
If you are travelling from Heathrow to London you can buy singles from the trainline starting from £6.90 each way0 -

To the OP As others have said, I'd use Heathrow ConnectDid you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -

which is the same price you pay at Heathrow for it. Why bother particularly as thetrainline charges a booking fee - and you can't pick the ticket up at Heathrow (wrong sort of machine) anyway?0
