thanks for the advice i do have a 4 year old disabled so as it happens...... so i think i might give them a ring and ask about this.....
as for the rest of you.... after the hectic week ive had im not suprised ive misplaced my key and as for not letting it get to having no electric.... i had the emergency credit on the meter just not the key to activate it...... the meter does beep when its gets under the last 1,00 BUT.......................... the meter is outside the house.... so a lot of good the buzzer is eh!!!!
british gas customer services is ridiculous in my eyes......
and as for you beanie no i wasnt moaning to the shop people as i already know its not their fault its bg"s...0 -

did you phone bg and get added to the scheme they told me about? hope you all sorted now hun....yes bg are very hard to get through to - they ring and ring and ring and you hold and hold and hold...if you have the time to ........
anthillmob - i wouldnt leave my key in the meter as;
a - i would forget it then when i went to get gas (people do forget)
b - we were advised not to do this when we got our meter put in
c - someone could (they do you know) steal it - they steal anything these days...0
