false info from an insurance company

Options
Try to keep this as short as possible!!
I was told that on friday 13th i have a leak in a water pipe under my kitchen. Now about 18months ago when i was living in the property i had water on my floor and in the joining wall in said kitchen. i called the house insurance company thhe AA and they sent ssomeone round to take a look. They told me I could not claim on my insurance as the leak was actually from an open air vent in the wall that had been put in for a tumble drier.
now on friday the guy from the water board told me that the water would have been from th leak under the kitchen.
I no longer live there and its sittting empty waiting to be let i have unoccupied insuranc ebut only since last week before i knew about thhe leak!!
i want to know if i have any come back from the previous visit from the aa insurance guy giving me false info??
TIA
Sal

Do you have any evidence the original assessment was wrong (note not 'false', as this implies dishonesty)?

It is completly unheard of for two pipes to leak in the same property?

no evidence the guy never gave me anything sorry not false wrong!!
not quite sure what you mean by the two pipes thing as the insurance guy stated it was from the vent outside not a pipe???
