Don't know if it will work with felt tip, but for biro have been told to try; milk; or hairspray; or be gentle with bleach.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

You could try 'ringaway' it is a commercially available paste in a tube that you can use to get rid of ring marks on wooden furniture - it may work on felt tip????0

Bicarbonate of soda, toothpaste (with bicarb in it) or nail polish remover. Can't confirm these just looked up some stuff. Try and test underneath.0

no matter what you use on it it will fade the area, been there and tried!!....you will have to re wax it after the pen is off!
so you may as well scrub it with a wet cloth and re do it.You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -

I made our own furniture, for this very reason, easy to add to, easy to repair should it get damaged...
A chest i made had some felt pen on, used nothing more than some clear furniture wax rubbed over it, it was a waxed finish anyway.
I guess some of the chemicals that keep it soft in the tin allow the older wax to soften slightly and the pen rubbing off. Leave it half hour then buff.
It probably depends on what finish the table is, as mentioned, try on an inconspicuous area first.
Hope that might help out in the future.0
