Currys Coverplan, can i claim?

Hi,
I have had a curys coverplan for 4 yrs now on our plasma, we treated ourselves to a lcd before xmas, and moved the plasma to another room, it doesnt get used as much now, and as of today its decided not to come on at all, it has the receiver/tuner box seperate, which seems to be working fine, just the tv itself does not come on, although it did briefly display a weird haze on the screen.
I have found my coverplan document, but it does not say much, so does anyone know if i can claim to get this repaired or replaced? My understanding of plasmas, is , IF the screen has died then its completely dead, and not repairable.
Does anyone know if COVERPLAN will do anything about this?, the expiry date has another 10 months left. And im alittle concenred about the few threds i have come across on the web regarding currys finding ways NOT to sort problems.

if its within coverplan then yes they will repair/replace upto same spec tv which now wil be a better plasma than you have! i know this as i used to work for pc world same comapny basically so know how it works!

is there power to the screen....! tho it does sound like its popped.. 95% of lcd/plasma screens need to be replaced (ie. cant be fixed)
