We go a walk to the park, bike rides, or trips round the forest taking photos !!
Handy living beside a park and a forest though !!!The two best things I have done with my life

Local Library is good at half term, tend to put quite a bit on, and so do a few local churches, both often get over looked during half term0

We used to have a day out to the museum and take a picnic to the gardens in front. Depends if you live near an interesting one though.0

Yesterday we went for a trek through the heath, collecting leafs, twigs etc. When we got back the kids made pictures out of them, glue everywhere but it kept them entertained for a while! They also made things out of clay the other day which they will paint today.
This week we will also be going to a free museum which is down by the quay and then they can take some photos of the boats and other random objects :rotfl:.
It might be worth checking shopping centres near you, we have Postman Pat coming to our local one this week.0 -
we are coastal so the beach is our fave free day out.
On holiday weeks like this though I walk my dd to our local park so she gets a bit of exercise to tire her a bit, then I let her pick acorns or leaves or something and we come home and get the glue out and make something with them and throw in a bit of paint too perhaps.0
