urgently need help regarding courier :-(

You choose the courier, they don't just pick one out of the hat.The thing here is that you are dealing direct with a courier network (Interlink Express have 98 depots in the UK) whereas the likes of Interparcel etc, are third party couriers that will have your parcels collected and delivered by a multitude if couriers.
AND it's £26.50 for 30kg parcel, do me a favour.

argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IVE GONE ONTO INTERPARCEL AND whoops caps lock , ive booked the courier for the actual bugy which was fine with no printing of labels but the only service which will take the car seat needs me to have a printer im so not enjoying this !!
do you think itd be a nightmare to get a different company to collect the car seat?
Foward the shipping label email to the seller and he or she can print it out?
That said having to wait in all day for *2* different collections might not amuse the seller."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

its a good job the buggys a bargain as the delivery has cost me well over 1/4 of the price of it!!!!!! :eek:It's over sized to go on standard cheap services. The volumetric limit is 30kg, which equates too legnth(cm) x width x height/5000 (or /4000 depending on courier).
That's why.

ive booked one with the interparcel 24 hour service and the other with their economy service im going to mail her the labels and hope and pray it all goes to plan as ive never organised a courier for something to come to me before. its a logistical nightmare.
lets hope the buggys worth it i hope so its worth well over £600 and i paid £82.59 and its listed in as new condition so im hoping it'll be as described now as ill have tons of fun with it.

Err, sorry, did I say they did - my comments actually said "the likes of Interparcel etc, are third party couriers that will have your parcels collected and delivered by a multitude if couriers". Regardless of whether you 'select' which one you want to use, the point was that they do not do the collections or deliveries themselves, and if anything went wrong with the delivery (i.e lost parcels) you would have more difficulty sorting it.
And your point on the price? £26.50 for a delivery like this is, IMO, very reasonable. Looking at some of the prices coming through on this thread, it aint all that bad.
And I was doing the OP a favour, with an alternative option.
FAO bargainhunter1 - how many do you send weekly/ monthly? Contact a few local carriers to see if you can get an account. Worth a try. Good Luck!:D0
