Cheapest site for UK Hotel Rooms

Hi, wondered which site you think is the best for UK rooms. I have used laterooms and booking.com but still think the prices are high...do you know of another site for last minute cheap rooms?

Thanks for reading

  • Hi,

Have you tried lastminute.com - I sometimes try there for last minute hotels.

  • I have just booked a four night UK break direct with the hotel at a "special offer" price, which included evening dinner. It was far more expensive on Lastminute and Laterooms for B & B only!!

I use travelsupermarket.com to search (it lists the hotels and the price offered for the hotel on different booking sites) and the book with whichever site gives me the best deal.

Beware when using this site it is not as independant a search as you are led to believe!!
  • Just found out the other day about www.londontown.com. Prices are really cheap compared to booking.com, but selection of hotels in somewhat smaller.
  • Thanks for the information, the hotelpricefinder site seems great to compare the most popular lastminute sites, I appreciate it might miss some of the direct deals but would give you a good steer in the right direction.

    Many thanks for your help.

I use gta hotels.com. Its a worldwide site. I managed to get a Days Inn near London for £36 per night where everything else was at least £80.

It was a lovely, clean modern hotel.

When friends tried to book direct they were quoted loads more.
