Small announcement I have a fridge freezer, delivered this morning :j:j:j:j, second choice but I'm happy as it's here. Stayed with Boots electricals in the end as their customer service was excellent. So I'm a happy bunny.
Loads of declttering in a bit of chest freezer and fridge and then disposal of the old ones.
Had some friends round last night and I really went to town getting clutter decluttered, things wiped and swiped and hoovered. Wasn't ashamed to have them round as I knew our house was the tidiest its ever been. Even able to supply them with clean, fresh bedding instead of a mad scramble to find something suitable.
Anyway another dump run on the cards due to crapola we need to bin, old wood, broken stuff, packaging.

Really need to look at finances today and confession alert, my compulsive food shopping.
It really is getting out of hand and I need to stop buying stuff, especially reduced food which then rots in the fridge. So thats my plan for today anyway.
Will write an inventory as I transfer everything over today and MEAL PLAN....or try to.:o:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

sexymouse - to convert from cu metres to kwH the calculation should be:
metric units used x calorific value (this varies by area & time of year, but I think you might be in my region, so currently its 39.2609) x volume correction (1.0226400) and then divide the result by 3.6 to get kwH
If you have any issues, you should go to your supplier first, then to their complaints team, and then to consumer focus... opinions vary as to what they can/can't/will/won't do
Parents have called... they're now about 30 minutes away, so have cleaned round the front door/step (keeping the cobwebs down!) and done a bit more of the utilty room floor. I'm leaving one tile to marinate in the tile-cleaner for a bit to see whether I can see any kind of diffence. It certainly seems to attack the grout, but I'm not sure it's managing to get the stains/residue out of the porous tiles . Somehow I think it might be easier just to take them up and start again!
Will update list after I've had a shower!0 -
Happy birthday fernliebee
Kassey wohoooo, I like new appliances
Triker wohooo @ FFmore shiney new appliances!
Dusty the suns glorious here, I'll be out with the dog for more than 30 minutes several times todayhope you enjoy your outside time
Pigpen how very dare I forget your cooker is new :rotfl: and yes you could be right there, show her it's new and explain you would like it to stay that clean, forever and everHave you got one of those oven liners in the bottom? I loves mine!
nicki well done! I think I'll be lucky to get 70% on mine
sexymouse good luck sorting it, the conversion for mine makes it about 37 times what the reading is at the minute, so for example 10 on my meter is 370 units (kwh) on my bill. greenbee's explaination explains how ours works too, the numbers are on your bill for calorific value too
((hugs)) for soappie, hope the cold gives you a break today. That floor looks great, does little madam appear every time you have the camera out?
embb the only thing I'd worry about with the outhouse (as we call them) is the water supply/drainage if you put the washer in. I know a few who have similar ones with the TD etc in, only other issue with some !!!!!! is if it's really cold in there it can cause issues (engineer told me as mines in garage, even if it's carpeted etc) The council should repair the leaking roof if it's still council owned, but you can't do structural without permission (if you've bought it you can do knocking through etc). Oh and my friend her's is really close to the house so her OH has put a perspex roof over where she has to walk between to get to itjust to add a job for your OH.
AMG2B we have a couple of FlyFellas
Beep beep morning all. Like I just mentioned to Dusty the suns out here so I've put some laundry outside aswell as some inside.....see if it dries, I've also put another washer load in. Like g&b I can only do quiet stuff until he wakes up, not that I didn't get to sleep until after him....I just don't know why I couldn't sleep, think I got 2 hours max but I don't feel that tired yet, weird. Kitchen just needs the hob cleaning, floor cleaning and it will be doneDS2s watching his favourite programme at present, Lion Man, he will watch the repeats over and over, I don't dare even mention that Craig Busch does't have the park at the minute
or he'd cry.
Back in a mo with my list, need to find it....
