I'm just going to continue sulking soappie... just to make a point
I usually do my spare room on kids rooms day, but it didn't need anything doing this week! But you're right, utility room is a good idea, as it never really gets done properly on kitchen day. TBH I didn't really have much to do yesterday because it's finally all manageable, which means I should be able to get back to my exercise routine next week without any excuses
Just because I don't have any kids to clear up after...
Level One
Hoover upstairs and down
[strike]Descale kettle[/strike]
Level two
[strike]Pack up books & DVDs to take to work to sell [/strike](after I've cleared out the car boot, obviously  )
[strike]Clear and wipe a shelf in the study[/strike]
Clear utility room wall units ready for moving them
Level three
[strike]Gather up ALL the dirty laundry and put it in the wash [/strike]not enough for a full load, so it'll have to wait until next week
Sort out Ik*a stuff to return & work out what other bits are needed
Pack up utility room wall units ready for the change round!
Extras- Binbag dance - study & utility room
- [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE] - none available to do
- Sew on buttons & pack up dry cleaning
- Sit and watch a film together! Like a family!! no friends, noone escaping.. Does going out to dinner on Saturday with family count?!
For everyone to share!!! If you get all these done Auntie Toots may find a golden sparkly star for you!!- [strike]Clean out the car boot!!!!!! Oh yes the boot!! lol [/strike]
- Clear out and clean the porch!
- Get everything ready for school/work on Monday
- [strike]
- S&S the kitchen
- S&S the bathroom
- [/strike]
- Meal plan for the week
- Organise the finances for the week.. I know a lot of get paid this week! YAY!!
- Sort out one cupboard/chest of drawers
- Spend some time as a family.. no tv, no toys.. just talk!! You CAN do this!! I've got a whole weekend of this
Continue to dejunk utility room
clear, wipe and refill study shelves x [STRIKE]4[/STRIKE] 3
[strike]Clean out the car! ...[/strike] ideally before my parents see it
Pay tree surgeon - I called two three weeks ago and still haven't heard back
Wash & store remaining dog bedding ... when there is some chance of it drying
Finish clearing study ... should be easier now chest of drawers is in... this is actually going quite well
Clean utility room tiles - started... and have had a second go... don't think it'll work...
My parents will be here sometime between 12 and 1ish I think, so I need to get the utility room strategically cleared and mid-DIY for then so that they decide to help me finish the wall units

Morning everyone
Had a good day yesterday, emptied 3 pine cupboards for ebaying, today I am going to list them plus an old answering machine, go for a walk with DH and 2 x DSs, make a loaf of bread in BM (inspired by the smell in Soappie's kitchen).
Also a 60 in 60 in the garage as it's a nice day
I made the ginger cake yesterday but haven't tasted it yet0 -
New Dishwasher has just arrived. :j:j0

Morning all
Lovely and sunny here so I'm off to get dressed and garden. What I do will depend on whereabouts the sun is shining - I need some vit D! I really hope you all get to be outside for at least 30 minutes.
The bag has arrived at Luton so OH going to collect it this evening, it will be interesting how many things I got right on the list and what I missed.
Happy Birthday fernliebee I hope you enjoy your day.
Just going to put another wash on and the one I've done on the line and off I go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
