Two ways to tell... what does your meter say? (M3 or ft3 or something like that), or tell me what the calculation on your bill is to convert to kwH and I'll try to remember which one you work out how...0 -
Welcome home Dusty - glad you enjoyed your holiday.
Hugs to Froddy, Serena, Triker, Sarah and anyone else who would like one.
I'm off to beddybyes in a minute - hopefully another night's sleep will mean I can walk without it absolutely killing me. I've decided not to go to the gym tomorrow cos I doubt my legs will have recovered in time, but plan to go at the weekend instead if my muscles will allow it.
Good news - OH has done well with his list - instead of just throwing out/recycling 27 bits of paper, he's done 60! He's asked me to clarify what "junk" is (I've asked him to throw out 27 pieces of junk on his list), so he's clearer on what he has to do now. He thinks he'll be able to do some more at the weekend. He's really keen to get his reward (Jamaica Ginger Cake) as we ate the last piece of the one I made for Valentine's Day tonight. He's also been very good and hasn't complained about taking things up and down the stairs for me, as it's taking me about 5 minutes to get up or down them at the moment. Fingers crossed that this considerate side of him stays.
I've also had a couple of people interested in one of the items I listed on freecycle today, so hopefully one more bit of clutter will be taken soon.
Well I'd best get off to bed now.

Right - bed!! Night all, sleep well x
Clype [STRIKE]is a tell tale[/STRIKE], just relised that might not be much clearer:rotfl: , someone who tells stories about someone else. Normally kids in the playground telling on another kid to the teacher or the like. thats clype-ing.
Skiddling is for example when a wee kid says I'm washing my hands when actually they are playing in the water, getting it all over them and up the walls etc
I may well have confused you more!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
SarahShattered wrote: »So, hugs.....yes, (always love a hug me! )
Sarah, glad you're OK (AND that you're waters back on, you were beginning to stink up the thread there girl!), and massive hugs to you anyway (as you say you love 'em) and I thought this might be apt
(sorry for clogging the thread, but this is for anyone needing a hug right now...)
It’s wondrous what a hug can do,
A hug can cheer you when you’re blue.
A hug can say ‘I love you so’
Or, ‘God, I hate to see you go’.
A hug is ‘welcome back again’,
And ‘great to see you’ or ‘where’ve you been?’
A hug can soothe a small child’s pain,
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug! There’s just no doubt about it,
We scarcely could survive without it.
A hug delights and warms and charms,
It must be why God gave us arms.
Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers.
Hugs are for some favourite aunts,
And loved much more than potted plants.
Kittens crave them, puppies love them,
Heads of state are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier,
And make the dullest day seem merrier.
No need to fret about the store of ‘em,
The more you give, the more there are of ‘em.
So stretch those arms without delay,
And give someone a hug TODAY!LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Wohoooooo done my first iCMA, computer marked assignment for one of my courses, not due until 23rd Feb but wanted to get it out of the way. Didn't get 100% right but not down to proper errors which wound me up, mainly down to notation etc, stupid silly mistakes, but a learning one I am looking at it as. Almost caught up with my reading for one of the courses too.
Going to put the books away apart from one which I will read in bed, have a yoghurt I think as I feel peckish, then sleep time, fingers crossed laptop arrives before 12noon as I was told ti was book, AGAIN for!
Goodnight all xxxOne day I might be more organised...........
