start up problem HELPPP !!!!

i have a laptop on windows XP , when i press the power button sometimes it gets to were you see the windows XP loading, but sometimes i press it, and the power light comes on but it has froze and i have to keep hold of the power button to turn it off.

please could you help

Theres not much info to go on here, tell us exactly what happens when it almost boots up including any messages. When did it start happening? What were you doing at the time?

Keep presing F8 to get to the safe mode option screen
Select SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING

If youve installed anything just before the problem then uninstall it

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')

UPDATE and FULL SCAN
Post the log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

i spilt water on it the other night but it worker after then it suddenly crashed on start up .....

Then its probably knackered

sometimes it will work and its fine , then the next day it wont work , then i try it in a few more days and it worked. now it aint workin any more...
