Hi,
Spending 5 nights in Sydney in December and looking for a cheap but hygienic hostel (2 adults, 2 kids).
Anyone any experiences??
Thanks
Lydia

Have a look in the Rough Guide, Lonely Planet or Virtual Tourist. Can't remember the name of the one we stayed in but there are some real flea pits.0

I would recommend the YHA in Sydney, its clean and near to everything. I can't remember which one it was but it was next to a train station and is in the lonely planet guide. Hope that might help! They have family rooms as well.0

Just has a quick look at the yha website and its called yha Sydney central. (Right next to Sydney Central station!) I would avoid the kingscross area as it is full of ladies of the night and is generally not suitable for children in my opinion!0
